CEO Donata Hopfen relinquishes her role at VERIMI
Jeannette von Ratibor joins the management board of VERIMI
Berlin, 3 May 2018: Donata Hopfen, CEO of VERIMI, will be stepping down from the VERIMI Management Board. At a shareholders’ meeting on 24 April 2018, she offered to step down from her position. This is due to differences of opinion regarding the strategic management of the company. Jeannette von Ratibor, Deputy Chairwoman of the Shareholders’ Meeting, will take over Donata Hopfen’s responsibilities and will temporarily strengthen VERIMI’s management in this context. Her function at T-Systems will remain unaffected by this, and von Ratibor’s office in the VERIMI shareholders’ meeting will be suspended. The change in personnel will have no impact on VERIMI’s strategic planning and direction – the platform and product will continue to be developed in line with the defined roadmap.

“We would like to thank Donata Hopfen for her dedicated work. She has made a significant contribution to the successful launch of VERIMI. We wish her all the best for the future,” says Markus Pertlwieser, Chairman of the VERIMI Shareholders’ Meeting. “At the same time, I am delighted that Jeannette von Ratibor is taking on operational responsibility at VERIMI.”

Donata Hopfen has been CEO of VERIMI since 1 October 2017 and has made a significant contribution to the successful development and market launch of the platform. Previously, as Managing Director of the BILD Group, she was responsible for the digitalisation of publications, among other things.

“It has been a great pleasure to help build VERIMI over the past few months, to provide long-term impetus for the future and to be able to recruit many energetic employees. I would like to thank my entire team and wish VERIMI every success in driving forward this project, which is so important for digitisation in Europe,” says Donata Hopfen.
