Berlin, December 01, 2021. Verimi makes the personal COVID status from the EU COVID certificate available for the fully digital recording of the 2G / 3G status at the workplace. Employees conveniently check in with Verimi from home, on the way to the workplace or when accessing the workplace at the employer: simply use the button “Prove COVID-19 status” e.g. from the email invitation, in the portal or in the app of the employer, the 2G / 3G status is already proven and documented in a secure and data-saving way according to the regulations of the Infection Protection Act. Time-consuming visual checks, manual scanning and time-consuming handling on site can thus be eliminated. The basis is the EU COVID certificate securely stored in the employee’s personal Verimi Wallet.
For this purpose, Verimi combines the proven processes from the management of verified identity data: “The COVID status involves personal data that must be handled with the utmost care. We apply the high security and privacy standards that also apply to our accreditations and certifications when handling identity data in regulated industries” explains Roland Adrian, CEO of Verimi.
Interested companies can use the Verimi offer free of charge and connect the COVID status check to their own systems with little effort thanks to the OpenID Connect standard.
