Verimi with new Managing Director Roland Adrian

• Marketing and sales expert Roland Adrian joins Verimi’s management board at the beginning of 2019

• Interim Managing Director Jeannette von Ratibor resigns and returns to Verimi shareholder T-Systems

Berlin, 4 December 2018: Verimi strengthens its management team. Roland Adrian will take over the further development of the Verimi brand and partner network at the beginning of the new year as designated Managing Director and Spokesman of the Management Board. Adrian joins Verimi from Lufthansa, where he has been Spokesman of the Management Board of Miles & More GmbH and responsible for Sales, Marketing, Retail and Business Development since 2015. With Roland Adrian, Verimi is gaining a proven expert in marketing and sales in both the corporate customer and end customer business.

Commenting on his start at Verimi, Roland Adrian says: “For me, Verimi is a central building block for how we will use the Internet in the future. The platform offers people simple and secure functions so that they can use their personal data with many partner companies in a self-determined and convenient way. I am delighted to be able to use my experience to lead Verimi into this future.”

Roland Adrian has been Managing Director and Spokesman of the Management Board at Miles & More GmbH since January 2015. The business graduate began his career in 1996 at Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Munich. After holding leading positions in the KarstadtQuelle Group, he built up the HappyDigits bonus programme as a joint venture between Arcandor AG and Deutsche Telekom AG from 2002. In 2009, Adrian moved to PAYBACK in Munich and has been dedicated to the launch of the programme in India since 2010. As Vice President, Adrian led PAYBACK’s expansion into various markets worldwide.

Jeannette von Ratibor, who has continued to drive the development of Verimi in recent months as interim management spokesperson, will return to her position at Verimi shareholder T-Systems International GmbH.

In future, the Verimi management team will consist of Roland Adrian, responsible for Marketing & Sales, Torsten Sonntag, Managing Director Finance & Operations, Holger Friedrich, Managing Director Product & Development, and Dirk Woywod, Chief Technology Officer.
